Problems with Previous Containment

Innovation Gap

For decades, painters and welders have relied on the same labor-intensive methods to protect flooring, equipment, and materials. Before this invention, thousands of man-hours were spent covering and taping everything beneath the work area, with even more time wasted removing these coverings.

Lift Equipment

Few contractors own their own lift equipment, typically renting from venders sush as United Rentals, Sunbelt, and Sunstate, just to name a few, These companies rent thousands of units daily, with values ranging from $35,000 to well into six figures if replacement is needed due to damage. Despite precautions, contractors must return these units in their original condition, and painting work is often the leading cause of damage.

Weather condition

Cold, wet, or windy environments make it difficult for tape to adhere properly. Poly sheeting often gets blown down, and overspray or welding spatter can drift 10, 20, or even 50 feet below the work area.

Tape Residue

On long-term job sites, protective tape is often left on longer than intended due to delays or missed removal. This frequently results in residue on window frames, doors, and girders, requiring additional cleaning-often added to punch lists during project closeout.
